Connor had a great first Thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for this year! Not only have our lives been enriched by Connor but we are also surrounded by the most wonderful family and friends. Our long holiday weekend started off with lots of rain down in Cape Haze, FL, where we first visited with Grandmama and Papa, along with Aunt Nancy and Uncle Mark. Connor also got to see our friends Jeremy and Danielle again, who haven't seen the little guy since he was 7 weeks old! The rain brought us cold weather, which was a nice change especially for the holidays. Papa bought Connor his own highchair to use when he visits and especially so that he could sit at the table for his first Thanksgiving dinner. Connor got his first taste of mashed potatoes...turns out he finds them disgusting! After our turkey dinner settled we went out back for a few rounds of corn hole. Team John and Nancy dominated. Sorry Mark, I'm a little out of practice. Before we left on Friday we visited Grandmama at work. She had so much fun showing off her grandson!
Our next stop was Waldo to visit Grandma and Grandpa. Connor also got to see his uncle Chris, great Grandma and great uncles Steve and Dominique. Grandma and Grandpa babysat for us so that we could head to Gainesville on Saturday to tailgate for the FL/FSU game. We had a lot of fun...Go Gators!! Connor learned how to say "Uh Oh" when something falls to the ground. He's like a sponge, just taking it all in!
We spent Sunday morning browsing through the paper, particularly the advertisements in hopes of finding Christmas gift ideas. We would put the ones we were finished with into a pile. Well, Connor wanted to pick out what he wanted from Santa too! Check out this picture of Connor reading the advertisements - too cute!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, now it's time to get into Christmas mode!
