Clapping

Connor has clapped for us here and there but he is now clapping all the time. The cutest is when we're getting him ready for bed. The lights are off and I'm singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star when suddenly he looks up and claps. It's adorable! It's almost like he's trying to be cute on purpose so he doesn't have to go to bed.

Gram and Grandpa came to town this weekend to babysit while John and I went out for my birthday. They had a great time with him! Connor sure has been spoiled lately between last weekend and now this weekend seeing his grandparents. Or should I say John and I have been spoiled? :)
Yesterday we enjoyed being outdoors a little. Connor still loves his swing! As soon as he sees it he lets out a squeal of excitement.

Later John got on the roof to cut some branches while Connor and I watched. It was fun sitting in the grass with him. At first he didn't know what to think about all the leaves on the ground. When I pointed out Daddy on the roof he started clapping!

Look, no hands!

Connor is really starting to get his balance and is now letting go and standing on his own! It's just for a few moments before grabs onto something or falls to his butt. It's so much fun to watch and he's so proud of himself afterwards. Connor also got another tooth today! He now has four teeth, two on the bottom and now two up top :o)
This weekend John and I went to Tampa for Chris and Marti's wedding shower and Connor stayed home with Grandma and Papa. Connor was a good boy for them (as always) and they had so much fun together! Uncle Andrew stopped by for a visit today too. We were so grateful for them coming to town to babysit. We missed him so much but we had a great time with our friends in Tampa.

Playtime

This weekend was filled with playtime for Connor. First our friends John and Christine brought their baby Emma over to play. It's so cute to see them interact with each other as they are roughly the same age. Emma just learned how to walk so it was fun to see her in action. We're hoping Connor took good notes :o) Saturday night we went over to John and Kristyn's house where Connor got to play with their son Kaden. Kaden is a little older, but played very nicely with Connor and shared his toys with him. Later the boys got ready for bed and had on the same pajamas - too cute! Sunday we had brunch at Tim's where Connor got to play yet again with his friends Ava and Andrew. Connor had a really fun weekend!
