Party Animal

Connor went to two 1st Birthday parties last weekend! We had to juggle them both as they were at the same time but we had fun even in the short time we were able to spend at each one. Taylor's party was first, when we got there she was sleeping! As soon as she woke up and came out she scanned the room and immediately pointed over at Connor! They were cute to watch as they interacted with one another.

Then it was off to Dalton's birthday party. He lives right next door to us! We got there just in time to see him have his first taste of cake. There were lots of little ones at this party for Connor to play with.

Then it was just a hop, skip and a jump and we were home :)

18 Month Checkup

Connor had his 18 month checkup today and he did great! His stats are as follows:
Height/Length - 32 inches (45th percentile)
Weight - 26 lbs (40th percentile)
Head - 18 3/4 inches (45th percentile)
We don't go back again until he turns 2 (which makes Connor happy)!
We had a pretty non-eventful Labor Day weekend. We watched a lot of football and John worked around the house a little. I caught a few good pictures of Connor watching his Daddy's team (FSU) and then trying to help him around the house....enjoy!!

18 Months Old!

Can you believe it? Connor is already 18 months old, crazy! We don't have his checkup for another week so I'll get back to you on his stats. He continues to learn new words on a regular basis, and has even added the phrase "What's that?" He loves to point to things and ask his question, even to things he already knows the answer to. When he does know what it is, he nods in agreement with your response. It has to be the cutest thing ever! He can ask me that question all day long as it will never get old to me :) He is now running all over the place and does not like to be confined anymore. He is also tall enough to open the doors in our house. No more privacy in the bathroom! :p Connor LOVES to throw balls...any kind, all day long. If he sees a ball, it will be thrown. He is starting to throw little tantrums when he doesn't get his way, but they don't last long if you ignore him. We rarely see these during the day, they are mostly spurred around dinner (hunger) and getting ready for bed (tired). He is still sleeping good though which we are very thankful for. We're still waiting for the days to come where he starts sleeping in!
Last week Connor got to spend 4 days/3 nights with Grandma and Papa while Mommy and Daddy went to Anna Maria Island. Though I'm sure he missed us, he did a great job and had so much fun with them. His great grandparents, Boosha and Ja Ja (Polish names for grandmother and grandfather) and his Aunt Nancy were also there for the weekend. He turned on the charm and showed off all his tricks. One of them is dancing to the song "If you're happy and you know it." Nancy caught a short video of him in action which I've posted below. I also included a link with a few pictures of his visit and a few from our trip to the beach. He was spoiled rotten but that was to be expected :)
