Update

Last week I reported that Connor was not so keen on "real food" and still favored purees. Not any more! He's eating everything now, I couldn't be more proud! Here are some of his favorites so far: chicken nuggets, cheeseburger, fish sticks, pizza, corn, peas, peaches and cheese! He still loves his cheerios, yogurt bites and goldfish for snacks :)
Another big boy step for Connor is his napping. The one year olds take naps in cots whereas the infants are in cribs. Connor is now taking his naps in a cot! I never would have thought he'd stay put without the confinement of a crib. He sure did prove me wrong! I'm still in disbelief that he is going to be a year old next week. But it's steps like this that ensure me he's growing at just the right pace.

♥ Happy Valentine's Day ♥

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We stayed home to get rid of this bug we've been passing back and forth around the house. I think we've finally kicked it! We're slowly trying to ween Connor off of pureed food as he is moving into the 1 year old room in a couple of weeks. They have a regular menu with snacks and everything! It's very exciting, but it isn't going as smoothly as we anticipated. It would appear Connor isn't a big fan of textures. However, this morning I made pancakes for breakfast. Connor got a very special Valentine pancake in the shape of a heart and loved it! :o)

11 Months Old!

We're in the home stretch, only 3 more weeks until Connor's 1st birthday! Connor likes to impress us with new 'tricks' everyday. His latest? Getting off of the couch! We did not teach him how to do this, he learned this on his own! It just amazes me how fast he learns things. Now if we could only get him interested in walking....

The only walking this boy likes to do is behind his walker! He loves pushing anything he can around the house. From chair stools to toys, he even tries to push Jackson around! But we all know he isn't budging ;)

Connor got to hang out with his Uncle Mark and Aunt Nancy for a little while today. He even watched the first quarter of the Super Bowl with us before going to bed. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, kisses from Connor!
